The Even If Retreat is coming …
-
Relax.
Unwind, unmask, and connect with like-minded women. You know the saying “the girls who get it, get it?” That’s what you’ll get this weekend. Whatever you’re carrying, this will be a safe space for you to be yourself.
We’re happy to be with you, no matter what.
-
Rest.
Your goal for this weekend is a rested mind.
Your mental load will be officially lifted. Your responsibility is only to do the things that bring you joy and allow you to rest your mind and body.
The activities available to you are low-key, low-energy, and totally optional. If you just want to exist in the company of others, you can do that. If you want to explore snowy trails, take a drive into town, do a puzzle, watch a movie, read a book… you can do that too.
Your activity level is totally up to you.

Connect
I fully believe that healing happens when we make eye contact with people who aren’t afraid of our hard things. Through our community dinners, group activities, workshops, and fireside chat, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to experience conversations and connections that will make you feel seen, heard, and understood.
You’ll connect with others, connect with yourself, and feel more connected to your Creator.
In February 2024, I released a book called Even if He Doesn’t telling the story of some of most difficult traumas and how those things had affected my faith - both in the destroying of it and in the strengthening. Since then, thousands of people have connected over the shared belief that even though bad things happen, we can still live in the goodness of God. We can face our pain and say, “Even if He doesn’t make this go my way, I’ll still believe that he’s good, kind, and faithful.”
Sometimes he doesn’t and sometimes he does and we’re learning to live in the tension of that. This weekend retreat will be both a celebration of surviving the pain we’ve endured and an invitation to connect with other people who aren’t afraid of our mess.
Whether your hard things have strengthened what you believe or weakened it, you’ll be safe and welcome here. Whether you’ve gone through hard things or you haven’t gone through hard things, you’ll be welcome here. If you just want to come for a good time and new friends, you’re welcome here.
No matter what is giving you the urge to sign up for this
trip, you’re welcome. And I truly can’t wait to meet you.
